Our hair line starts receding, our hair begins to thin, and our hair begins to look as tired as we feel. Man or woman. One day we look in the mirror, and start to notice the changes. Our hair can age us, but there are measures we can take that will determine when and what concessions we will need to make as we age. Whatever your reason is, the answer is yes, it is possible to regrow your hair line, and have thick beautiful long hair.
These steps are in no specific order. Take them as you can. The suggestions range from beginner to 'all in'. A holistic approach will produce the best results.
Of course I'm going to point out what products you use. Are you applying products to your hair that help in the long run? Adding our products to your hair care regimen will make a difference. But what are the other products you are using?
Clean scalp. Clogged or trapped pores won't help.
How are you detangling your hair? Say you just showered. Let your hair air dry whenever possible. I like to lay a towel across part of my pillow, and lift my hair off my neck onto the towel. Only detangle when dry or mostly dry. Detangle thoughtfully. Using your fingers to detangle will reduce loss of hair. Hair that is properly moisturized will detangle easier. And get that silk pillow case to reduce tangles.
Utilize protective hair styles like a braid. Braid at night. Buns and ponytails cause loss hair and breakage.
Clips and pins pull out hairs and bands break them. Treat your hair like each lost and broken strand is robbing you of your thickness and length.
Massage your scalp. For increased blood flow. It also helps with sinus drainage.
Clean water inside and out. Many people drink clean water, but do you also bathe with clean water?
Healthier diet does improve your hair. Get all your vitamins and hormones checked. Check out our teas!
Check for food intolerances and allergies. They impact more than just discomfort after eating.
Exercise. It impacts your biological age.
Visualization and word affirmation. Your mind is a powerful thing. Tell your body how to behave. Visualize nutrients going to your scalp, and your scalp growing hair. Tell your body to make your hair thick. Sounds crazy I know.
All these little steps you are making will take time. It's a journey.
